Where is Prism Beauty located?

Does Prism Beauty have a parking spaces?

  • There is a private parking lot for your convenience.

What are the hours of operation?

  • All our artists operate by appointment only. Hours of operation may vary.

Do you accept Walk-ins?

  • We are by appointment only. Feel free to visit the salon to make an appointment and say hi!

Do you offer gift certificates? 

  • We offer gift certificates. Please feel free to visit the salon or call for more details.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

  • We kindly ask for at least 48 hours if changes need to be made on your appointment. If changes are made in less than 24 hours or appointment is broken, we will charge the full service fee amount.  

How do you sanitize your tools?

  • All non-porous implements are washed, soaked in hospital grade disinfectant for at least 10 minutes, according to stateboard standards. All porous implements such as nail files and buffers are disposed after each client. 

How do you clean your pedicure sinks in between clients?

  • After each pedicure service, the sink is drained and any visible debris is scrubbed away with detergent. We then fill the sink with water and hospital grade disinfectant and run the air jets for 10 minutes before draining the sink again eliminating any bacteria, fungus and viruses. 

What is the difference between Gel Manicure and Shellac Manicure?

  • Nothing! Shellac is a brand of gel polish used for gel manicures. Gel polish is a resin based polish that requires UV/LED light to cure and dry immediately. Among Shellac we also offer OPI, Gelish, IBD etc. gels in over 500 shades!

Do acrylics or gels ruin my nails?

  • The absolutely shouldn't. If the nails are prepped, applied and removed properly, enhancements should NOT ruin your nails. Improper prep and/or removal can remove layers of your nails, when this action becomes perisitant, you will notice thinning nails. 

Are the UV light to cure my nails safe?

  • The type and does used in UV lamps are very low. Studies have shown that use of UV lamps for manicure is not harmful nor does it cause cancer to the skin. To be on the safer side, we us LED curing lamps to give you peace of mind and efficiency!
